Guess what arrived in the mail, today!

I am ... in awe. My father's living room smells incredible-- the cat is going insane. And I have no idea where to even begin!

I suppose I can start with these:

i took the teapot magnet. is there anyone (participants in swap 2005 get first choice) who would like one of the other items? Leave a comment. :)

emeraldandsilvr (whose current username escapes me) gets choice of what's left (which is everything i received, minus some spilled loose tea and about 11 tea bags I took, which there are multiples of).
It would be easiest for me, my lovely, if you told me what sorts (flavours, loose/bagged, whatever) of tea you were most interested in. I can then sort through what I got, and make you a package based on that. The other options being that a) I surprise you, b) I send you the full list, c) any combination of the three! Just let me know. You can either e-mail me, or leave a comment here.

I will be cataloging/photographing (in the case of loose teas) the contents in the next couple weeks (before I go back to school!). At that point, I'm going to offer the participants that were earlier on in the swap another chance at getting some new teas. :)
The contents of the journal will either be scanned or photographed and hosted on my website. I'll try to transcribe the entries you all made, as well. It really depends on how much time I have. When those things are taken care of, I will still probably have enough tea left to start another box. I'm still working out the details in my head.

Postage was a huge issue, especially sending over seas. I'm working on something that could potentially compensate a few of you. If you spent $10+ (US) on postage, please leave a comment here.

I'm so happy that this worked out, even with the minor difficulties we had! Those of you who participated, expect another filtered post or e-mail (soon) with a list.
I'll post the website link as soon as I can, as well. I'm excited to have something to work on for the next few days!

list of what I took:
Stash: chai green tea, double spice chai black tea, white chirstmas tea, lemon spice green tea, chanakara blue ginger (all x1)
Yogi: classic india spice tea, egyptian licorice mint (both x1)
Other (all x1): tazo chai, twinings after dinner mint, 15 minutes organic teas peppermint and liquorice, knights bridge waldbeere (Um...I liked the name!), loose China rose petal tea (about a tablespoon)

And I really just want to thank everyone who made this more successful than I could have ever hoped for. I'm looking forward to another!

(edited with a few photos! more later on (with a content list) in another entry.)
